Smilo & The Ghost show why they are rising stars at Third Thursday Jamestown
August’s Third Thursday Jamestown was special from the word “go!” A glorious late summer evening set the stage for amazing performances from Smilo & The Ghost, Charity Nuse & Sara Rafaloski, and a special tweener set from the cast of Lucille Ball Little Theatre of Jamestown’s “Rock of Ages.” Hometown favorites, Charity and Sara started the evening off with a roots rock set, that featured some great Big Leg Emma tunes. A surprise tweener set occurred when the cast of “Rock of Ages” to be performed in September at Little Theatre sang a few 1980’s hair band anthems from their upcoming performances in September. The bluegrass powerhouse, Smilo & The Ghost showed the Jamestown crowd why they are rising stars. The four-piece had the crowd in the palm of their hand all night, playing many songs off their amazing new album “Twang & Fire.” It was a special evening in downtown Jamestown.
