7 things to know for Ace Frehley concert in Jamestown, April 29, 2023
The Saturday, April 29, 2023 Ace Frehley concert at the beautiful Reg Lenna Center for the Arts is certainly going to rock. Charming downtown Jamestown is a wonderful place to visit before and after the concert. Here are a few cool things to know about the Ace Frehley concert weekend. This event is made possible by Fund for Downtown, NY State Downtown Revitalization Initiative and the Jamestown Local Development Corp.
1.) Make sure you get your tickets for Ace Frehley’s concert at the Reg Lenna Center for the Arts on Saturday, April 29th. The 1,200 seat Victorian theater is an amazing place to see a concert. Not a bad seat in the house. The event is hosted by Ted Shredd of Buffalo’s 97 Rock. Hot at Bats are opening the concert.
2.) Special hotel room rates for Ace Frehley concert: Make it a weekend, by staying at the DoubleTree Hilton Jamestown – just three blocks from the concert. The rooms at this great hotel are already affordable ($100 as of this publishing), but they are giving Ace Frehley fans 15 percent off room rates. All the information can be found here.
3.) Showstopper: Get to the National Comedy Center in downtown Jamestown. Within minutes of stepping into this place, you’ll see why USA Today named it as one of its Top 10 New Museums. It’s a museum dedicated to comedy and is filled with interactive and physical displays. The most common thing we hear from people who visit the NCC is, “I spent three hours there and could have spent much more.”
4.) Explore Downtown Jamestown: Visit downtown’s shops – with the BioDome and Chautauqua Soap Company being two of our favs. Check out the Chautauqua Art Gallery. A stroll on Jamestown’s Riverwalk is always a pleasurable experience. Great restaurants too. Some of SitlerHQ favs are Shawbucks, The Chop House on Main, and 4 Below Haggy’s Bar & Grill to name a few. All of these places are 3-4 blocks away from the Reg Lenna Center for the Arts.
5.) Concert pre-party at Pearl City Hops: 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. inside the DoubleTree Hotel. Drink and food specials, DJ music, prizes and more. If it’s a nice day, the patio will be open.
6.)Pre-show beer, wine and concessions at The Reg. The doors open at 6:00 p.m. for the 7:00
p.m. concert. Come early and enjoy a beer, wine, seltzers, margaritas, and canned cocktails (vodka, tequila, and bourbon based beverages), maybe some popcorn and soak in the majestic beauty of the Reg Lenna Center for the Arts. There is a nice seating area with tables and chairs inside the lobby-area.
7.) Post Concert Party at The Beer Snob: This will be the place to be after the concert. Located three blocks away from the theater, the very cool The Beer Snob will hosting a post-concert performance by Feverhawk.
